Cost
The yearly cost to join Oxford Cycling Club is as follows:
- Family: $35
- Individual: $20
- Student: $10
Cost of membership goes to a variety of things. Chief among them is backing (50%) of all our grant-funded events, including Double Decker Spring Ride. This allows us to continue to grow our annual Double Decker Ride, and gives us great leeway as a group to fund projects we see as fitting to our mission. OCC membership money helps pay for events like Clear Creek Challenge, helps OCC promote Bike to Work week and Bike Month (May), helps with the purchase of trail building and maintenance equipment, and partially supports our ability as a Club to afford jerseys for members.

Member Quotes
Here is what some of our members say about Oxford Cycling Club:
"Since joining Oxford Cycling, I have met men and women of all ages that I might not otherwise have been introduced to, and formed friendships that encourage activity that keep me in shape. People around Oxford appreciate the club for it's activity in the community and I am proud to be part of it!" - Hugh Stump
Perhaps Rich Raspet sums it up best, after being called "a master of understatement" revised his description of a local route from "rolling hills" to "rolling unrelenting hills." From a large group of riders starting together, then splitting into groups based on skill, will or madness, Oxford Cycling Club caters to all cyclists, and all will find a place to feel at home.
Tom Lombardo says "The cycling club is a microcosm of all that is good about living in Oxford, Mississippi: strong community spirit – for both the cycling and the larger community – translated into good deeds on small and large scales. Niches accommodate those of us who want to give back to the community, who want companionship on the road or trail, who have a competitive streak, or who simply want to boost health (and fight the aging process, as in my case). Oxford Cycling is a civic club that meets on two wheels with business people, students, professors, and parents as members."
